My Course

I currently study the course, IT Systems and Networks at ITE College West. I have learnt 

• how to use HTML, CSS and some Python coding in my first 10 week DPP preparation for ITE

• how to manage computer systems and devices

• how to manage computer network

• how to assist to manage virtualisation infrastructure

• how to implement network security 

• how to implement wireless LAN

• how to support networked servers

Industrial attachment (iA)

I did my IA at a company called Rayton Solutions Pte Ltd, where they do tech refreshes for Primary, Secondary and Junior Colleges. Here are some things that ive learnt to do while working there:

• I learnt how to do SCCM Imaging

• I learnt how to provision new devices 

• I learnt how to sanitise devices, to ensure that all data is completely wiped 

• I learnt how to be more organised, since we have multiple devices to handle as well as paperwork 

• I learnt the importance of good communication when speaking to the customers

• I learnt the importance of time management, since we have specific Rollout dates 

eg. if the Rollout date is 10/7 - 17/7, then we'll have to complete everything we were tasked to do within that time

• I learnt how to adapt quickly when issues arise
